LYB Peanutbutter Lover Protein Flapjack

Ingredients

  • 400g rolled oats
  • 3 tbsp peanutbutter
  • 3tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup zero golden syrup (made with natural sweetners) or use maple syrup but include extra sugars and carbs in the macros
  • tsps natural sweetner
  • 1 cup unsweetend almond milk
  • 1/4 cup seeds
  • 60g vanilla whey protein

Method

  1. Pre heat the oven at 250 degrees
  2. Place oats and seeds in a tray and bake for 6 minutes to crisp
  3. In a bowl mix the syrup, 2 tbsp peanut butter, 1 tbsp coconut oil, milk and protein powder till smooth.
  4. Add the hot oats to the bowl and mix till evenly coated
  5. Press the mixture evenly into a tray and place in the freezer for 10 minutes
  6. Meanwhile make the peanut butter chocolate topping by mixing 1 tbsp peanut butter, 1 tbsp coconut oil,3 tsp natural sweetener and a dash of hot water till smooth. Poor the mixture over the set flapjack and set for a further 20 minutes before slicing. Enjoy a lean refuel!
